Technical studies

This leader race in Argentina formed blood lines, widely adapted to the West Pampas.

However, their improvement is possible today through a patient selection made normally by time. Our base cattle have been acquired, without any exception, in known Farms located West of General Acha.

When they enter our farms, these wombs have been submitted to an acclimatization process that in all cases include a first service after a minimum of 27 months period, in order to ensure a total endocrine maturity. This will result in a mother in excellent conditions to wean her calf on time and be pregnant in short time without any physical setback.

At the same time, these breeds, in their development phase, will have physical characteristics, superior to any Angus coming of favorable climate zones, feeding in thorny bushes and pasturing grasses that are totally unwanted in any other latitudes, either green as dried afterwards.

This is the introduction to a new concept in genetics we are willing to develop, where adaptation and development possibilities of the animal in areas of high climatic risk, are very important, towards where cattle breeding is oriented today.

So, Crios Farm is able to offer his clients a cow with excellent abilities to be introduced in environment not considered as fit for British races and bulls with the appropriate size, and that will follow their female wherever she is.
